Japan, Schmapan

Yeah, I’m still in Japan as well as I really took a photo of a gown in a shop window last night, however I’m worried that being right here has corroded my visual sense as well as that it’s not really a fantastic dress, however instead is just A DRESS, as well as not the inevitable combo of military-style jacket, knee-length skirt, as well as knee boots that seems to be the uniform-inspired uniform of the younger women on the train as well as the street. I can’t tell by the women I see in the offices, since they’re all (with one exception so far) receptionists as well as have an actual uniform, not just something that appears like a uniform. Anyway. What I truly wished to state was (courtesy Mary Beth) THERE ARE A THOUSAND new PATTERNS at vintage Martini! Yes, let a thousand jobs bloom. Or perhaps they’re the equivalent of a thousand paper cranes? Whatever. this above is the very first one that caught my eye. Yep, square neck, adorable bit sleeves, full skirt: it may also have “Reserved for Erin” on a post-it on the back. however then I saw this one:I’ve never seen this brand before! It’s Australian! (New thing to browse Ebay.co.au for, huh?) as well as I like that yoke …But then, there was this:Game over. look at that! I don’t believe I’m going to buy it, since I’m not sure I might make it, however guy oh man, is it going on my “life list” of patterns I’ve seen. now I have to go put on my uniform, I mean my suit, for my meetings today. however I’ll be believing about this dress.
